Pre Xmas photo shoot
I will be doing an indoor photoshoot this Sunday at the house.
I wont go into details yet, I am still working on the shots I want to get, so it is still a little up in the air. I am going to be glad when this week ends, working for UPS this a busy time of the year and it usually takes the weekend to recover.

New podcast idea, RAR Modelcast
RAR Modelcast
I have been kicking around an idea for a couple of weeks now, and I think I have it mostly worked out. To combine two things I like, photography and podcasting. If you haven't heard of podcasting that doesn't surprise me too much. Podcasting is kind of like an internet radio or television show. But instead of going out over a cable or network like radio or tv, it is online. You can down load the episodes and watch them when ever or where ever you choose.
My idea is basically to have photographers, models, studios, MUA's, wardrobe designers spotlighted on each episode. It could be interviews like on a radio show or it can be video. Video does make more sense but there are some bandwidth issues involved with large video files and hosting. But the idea is there.
Is this a good idea?
Is it a bad idea?
Would this be something you might be interested participating in?
I have a basic frame work for the episode worked out.
1- Introduction of the show, quick explanation of what the show is about, and hopefully (eventually) a sponsor.
2- Introduction of the guest for the episode.
Background, why/when/how questions
Best/worst experience
Dream project (location, person to work with, etc.)
3- Watch person working and/or show examples of their work.
4- Give contact information of guest, web sites, etc.
To be honest, the first few might not be released right away. While I am familiar with how to do this, usually the first five or so are not so good, and will likely be held back until the show gains some traction in popularity (hopefully). But I do think this is a great opportunity for people in the industry as another avenue to get their name out and get exposure.
The show can also be an introduction to modeling. Produce a series of episodes of "How to's", "How to get into modeling, photography, MUA, etc.."

Back in Newtown
Its been over a week, the job hunt continues.
To pass the time I have been taking lots of photos in and around town at all times of the day. I get bored and I need to walk, so I combine the two. Have been looking to get some shoots lined up, but patience is sometimes not my best trait.

The Move is set
My exile in Berks County is almost over. The end of September I will be moving back to Bucks County and getting the hell out of here!
I really should have moved a couple of years ago, but you live and learn, well, you learn.
So adios Hobbytown and all of the irrational and idiotic shit I put up with there over the past years.
Adios to this neighborhood and these damn people. I am not being racists with this comment, this is my observations over the time I have lived here. Hispanic woman are the primary cause of most of the problems I have seen around here. The woman get the guys so worked up with all of their shrill yelling and screaming, I think the guys react just so they can block out the caterwauling! Just my personal observations and opinion.
And here is what I am going to miss most.
