Welcome. As you may have noticed I have set this up so that the photo shoots are listed in actual order of when they took place, not when I made the posting. It makes it easier to keep things in order. So feel free to comment on the photos, I do not take offense to criticism if it is actual criticism and not just someone being an ass hat. Enjoy

New bucket list
My photography bucket list.
These are not in any sort of order, just as they came to me. This is by no means a complete list, will be added to and modified in the future.
Dragon-Con. It has been far too long since I was there, and time I made it back. If the employment situation pans out as I hope it will, this might be the year!
Trip out West. I have flown over much of the places I want to photograph, but didn't have a camera with me at the time. Grand Canyon, Badlands, Yosemite, Zion, Meteor crater, that sort of stuff. One day I hope to fly out to Las Vegas, rent a car and hit the road for a week or two.
Dancing Video. I was inspired by a video I saw a while ago of a woman dancing to Macklemores "Can't Hold Us". My take will be a multi-camera shoot of several women.
Nun. This looks as if it is going to happen. It is a shoot that would probably make many people unhappy, but I have the perfect model lined up and fingers crossed for late February 2015!
Two men. This won't be porn, but will involve some simulated sexual positions and nudity. Finding the right men that suit what I am looking for is the problem.
Smoking. Using natural light, model with little or no make up, getting the effect of the smoke catching the light.
Europe. Like the trip out West, I have flown over or past many of the places I want to go but I want feet on the ground. The countryside in Wales and Ireland, cathedrals in Germany and France, the rivers and landscapes all over Western Europe and Great Britain and Ireland.
Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. See Trip out West and Europe. The shores are amazing, need a passport don't I? Damn

Terrorism- no, Murder- YES
The events in Paris this past week should be a surprise to no one.
Islam like all religions, has radicals and fundamentalist sects. Christianity, Judaism, even Buddhists have radicals. But my personal beliefs cloud my opinions on this subject.
Is Islam a religion or peace as some so stridently claim, no they are not.
My anger at the murder of those people in Paris should be the final straw that Islam is a violent and murderous religion. They are intellectual vacant, unable to face their detractors with words because they have no truth to back them up. They use bullets and bombs. They are so wrapped in the "glory" of their faith that killing innocent unarmed people is seen as a great act. They are cowardly, ignorant, deluded whores for a reward in an imaginary afterlife. They are killing for a long dead pedophile.
What should be done? To start, religion should be outlawed as the basis for any government, whether it is national or regional. There are parts of several European cities that are all but ruled by Sharia law. Local law enforcement do not enter those areas. This cannot stand.
This is not just an issue for Islam either. It is an indictment of all religions. People wrap themselves in the righteousness of their beliefs because they are written in some book alleged to have been the word of some "god"? No, they are reading the words of men, who died over a millennium and a half ago at the latest! This cannot be permitted to continue.

Getting annoyed
What should be a simple photo shoot is becoming a logistical annoyance.
Scheduled people throughout the day, every 2 hours so it is not rushed, for them or me. Plenty of time for small talk, redoing the sets and lights. Easy, right?
No
This is not a major studio production but people are acting like it is. I am waiting for someone to text or email me a rider of what they "expect" waiting for them! If that happens they are going to discover the sarcastic evil side of me.
What is so difficult about getting photos taken of you? There is no hair stylists, no MUA, not even too much wardrobe to deal with. It is a very simple shoot. Granted I am not a model, the world is a much better place with as few photos of me as possible. But can someone give me an idea of what I am missing?
The photos I am looking for are simple. Arms, legs, hips, back, neck, from different angles and lighting. I have sample photos and lots of ideas in my head. It should not be difficult.
I understand this is a bad time of the year to be doing this. It is flu season and a few people have it and that is not a problem. Who wants to be photographed while they have the flu, nose red and running, feeling like crap.
I have the schedule just about worked out. One person is haggling me over times, and another said they would be there but then went silent.
I am just venting. I still have cautious optimism about the shoot. Someone is going to show up, how many I have NO IDEA, but I will make the best of what I get.
